Elundy said it all. Your article was fun to read, but it has nothing to do with reality. I love DH, but I think that you compared things you simply can't compare. Also, DH racing is not the only "race against the clock" sport in the world, right? What about WRC, or downhill skiing, or numerous automobile sports where one turn, one touch of the brake can mean the difference between death or glory? Nontheless, I still think that DH racing is one of the most intense sports in the world.
